Stimulus: Trump ceased negotiations on second stimulus bill. A couple days later, he just reversed course, stating that he is interested in a big deal before the election.

Trump’s Covid Case: After spending 3 days at Walter Reid Hospital, President Trump assured the nation that he was feeling better. “I just left Walter Reed Medical Center and I learned so much about Coronavirus. One thing that’s for certain. Don’t let it dominate you. Don’t be afraid of it. You’re going to beat it. We have the best medicines, all developed recently. Don’t let it dominate. Supreme Court: In the latest salvo over the heated nomination of Amy Coney Barrett, Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal called Trump’s actions “illegitimate.”

Michigan: TheMichigan Supreme Court ruled 4-3 that Governor Gretchen Whitmer overreached in her emergency powers. Shortly thereafter, Michigan’s AG signaled that she will no longer enforce Whitmer’s lockdowns

Election: Democrats are accusing Republicans of “voter disenfranchisement,” “abuse of power,” and possibly fraud over the elections. In a join declaration, 14 Democratic governors stated, “Any efforts to throw out ballots or refuse a peaceful transfer of power are nothing less than an assault on democracy.”  Learn more in today’s video.

Debates: Did you know that Steve Scully, the next moderator, once interned under Biden? The Commission is discussing to give the moderator the ability to turn off President Trump’s microphone. However, Trump has signaled that he will not participate in the next debate, which would be held virtually due to Trump’s Covid contraction.

Covid Cases: According to statistics, half of US states are now seeing an increase in coronavirus diagnoses, and the country just surpassed a cumulative 7.5 million reported cases.

China: A recent Pew Research survey found 77% of Americans had no confidence in Chinese President Xi Jinping to “do the right thing” in global affairs.

Tech Giants: A a 16-month congressional investigation into the tech giants Amazon, Apple, Google and Facebook found that they hold “monopoly power” in key business segments and have abused their dominance in the marketplace. Not surprisingly, the tech giants strongly disagreed with the report’s assessment and recommendations.

NBA and BLM: NBA Commissioner Adam Silver announced Tuesday that when the league returns to play next season, Black Lives Matter messages will likely not be displayed on the court or on players’ jerseys as they have been this season. Apparently, promoting BLM has not been good for business.

Netflix: Texas grand jury indicted Netflix on ‘lewd exhibition’ charges for ‘Cuties’ film.
