Election: Democrats are accusing Republicans of “voter disenfranchisement,” “abuse of power,” and possibly fraud over the elections. Covid Cases: According to statistics, half of US states are now seeing an increase in coronavirus diagnoses, and the country just surpassed a cumulative 7.5 million reported cases.
China: A recent Pew Research survey found 77% of Americans had no confidence in Chinese President Xi Jinping to “do the right thing” in global affairs.
Tech Giants: A a 16-month congressional investigation into the tech giants Amazon, Apple, Google and Facebook found that they hold “monopoly power” in key business segments and have abused their dominance in the marketplace. Not surprisingly, the tech giants strongly disagreed with the report’s assessment and recommendations.
NBA and BLM: NBA Commissioner Adam Silver announced Tuesday that when the league returns to play next season, Black Lives Matter messages will likely not be displayed on the court or on players’ jerseys as they have been this season. Apparently, promoting BLM has not been good for business.
