Dear Friends,
Samuel Rutherford declared, “The great Master Gardener, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, in a wonderful providence, with his own hand, planted me here, where by his grace, in this part of his vineyard, I grow; and here I will abide till the great Master of the vineyard think fit to transplant me.”
1. LEFTISTS CELEBRATE COMMUNIST MAY DAY: During the peak of its power, the Soviet Union celebrated May 1 as a Communist workers’ holiday. This May Day, the Communist Party USA rallied workers to “rise against MAGA.”
Around 600 extremist groups linked with the Democratic Party – including the Democratic Socialists of America, the People’s Forum, Code Pink, and the Party for Socialism and Liberation – organized 3,000 protests across America.
Thousands of teachers and students took the day off to protest with taxpayer dollars. They were backed by the National Education Association and the American Federation of Teachers, and joined by Hollywood elites such as Mark Ruffalo and Robert De Niro.
Ed. Note: The May Day protests are another sign that the modern Democratic Party has been fully captured by Communists. Goal #15 of the 45 Communist Goals for America stated, “Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.” The presence of thousands of teachers at these protests is a stark reminder that the public schools discipling the next generation have been largely captured as well.
2. DEMOCRATS ADMIT THAT SAVE AMERICA ACT WOULD FLIP KEY STATES TO THE RIGHT: A new Washington Post op-ed explains why Democrats remain unanimously opposed to the SAVE America Act, which would require proof of citizenship for voting in federal elections.
The article from two Yale researchers notes, “89 percent of Democrats and 90 percent of Republicans hold qualifying citizenship documents, a difference that is not statistically significant.”
However, the gap widens in key swing states. Under the SAVE America Act, Republicans would hold a 3.3% registration advantage in New Mexico over Democrats. Additionally, the bill would shift Nevada from “battleground to comfortably Republican.”
President Trump recently said, “[Cheating] is the only way they can win. And we shouldn’t allow them to cheat. And we should terminate the filibuster because if they get the chance, they’ll do it in the first hour back.”
Ed. Note: Democrats oppose the SAVE America Act because they would lose significant power without the votes of illegal aliens. We must continue demanding our U.S. Senators support President Trump and secure American elections before November.
3. VOTERS OUST FIVE RINO INDIANA STATE SENATORS WHO DEFIED TRUMP: Last December, 21 Indiana state senators joined Democrats to kill a Trump-endorsed plan that could have netted Republicans two more Congressional seats.
This Tuesday, six of those incumbents up for reelection lost, five of them to Trump-backed challengers. Turning Point Action and other MAGA groups spent millions and organized get-out-the-vote efforts.
Citizens Alliance CEO Cliff Maloney reacted, “Huge night for those who want REPUBLICANS that actually take action and fight. No more RINOs who sit back and just want to build a legacy of being nice… Congrats to the activists on the ground who pulled this off.”
The Federalist’s MD Kittle said the vote should be a wake-up call to Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) and “spineless Republicans” who refuse to pass the SAVE America Act.
4. TRUMP HITS IRAN AFTER ATTACK ON U.S. DESTROYERS: On Sunday, President Trump announced the launch of “Project Freedom” to reopen the Hormuz Strait by securing safe passage for foreign ships. Seven Iranian small boats were destroyed after they attempted to stop ships from transiting the Strait.
On Tuesday, Trump said the operation had been paused due to progress in negotiations. However, two unnamed U.S. officials said the plan was paused after Saudi Arabia denied its ally access to air bases and its airspace.
On Wednesday, Axios asserted that the United States and Iran were negotiating a memorandum of understanding to end the war. The same day, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi flew to Beijing for a meeting with Communist Chinese leader Xi Jinping. China and Iran are major economic partners, with China buying much of Iran’s oil.
On Thursday, President Trump announced strikes on targets including Qeshm Port in the Strait of Hormuz, the port city of Bandar Abbas, and the Bandar Kargan naval checkpoint in Minab, after “unprovoked Iranian attacks” on three U.S. destroyers. Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates intercepted Iranian drones and missiles.
Trump insisted that the ceasefire remains in place, but vowed to hit Iran “a lot harder and a lot more violently” if they failed to agree to a peace deal.
5. ECONOMIC DISRUPTION FROM THE WAR CONTINUES: Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said the Trump administration has “suffocated” Iran with “a real economic blockade,” and they are “not able to pay their soldiers.” The Epoch Times reported that Iran’s oil storage clock is “ticking,” as at least 1.5 million barrels of oil have been stored every day in its facilities since President Trump initiated a blockade of Hormuz on April 13.
Bloomberg reported that the United States has now replaced Saudi Arabia as the world’s largest exporter of crude oil, as the Iran war pressures the Arab oil states. However, the outlet noted that increased U.S. energy exports are depleting inventories and raising domestic gas prices.
Crowell Global Advisors’ Monica Gorman warned that the shutdown of Hormuz, which normally carries one-third of global fertilizer production, could cripple food supplies as planting gears up.
Veteran commodities analyst Jeff Currie contended that oil prices are unlikely to bounce back to normal immediately, even if the Iran war ends soon. He said, “It’s baked in, full stop. It’s going to take so long to get all this restarted…”
6. SUPREME COURT TEMPORARILY ALLOWS MAIL-ORDER ABORTION PILLS: Last Friday, the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals temporarily blocked a Biden-era rule that allowed the the abortion kill pill mifepristone to be sent via mail. Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill called the order a “victory for life” and stated, “I look forward to continuing to defend women and babies as this case continues.”
On Monday morning, the U.S. Supreme Court temporarily halted the ruling, giving the FDA one week to respond.
As the legal battle continues, some pro-life advocates are frustrated that the Trump administration has thus far defended the Biden rule allowing mail-order abortion pills against states like Louisiana that have sought to overturn it.
Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America president Marjorie Dannenfelser said, “Trump is the problem… It’s shameful that the Trump administration’s inaction has forced pro-life states to take their battle to the federal courts.”
Family Research Council president Tony Perkins added, “Pro-life voters are going to be wondering what’s going on when they head into the polls in November.”
7. FROM TEXAS TO CALIFORNIA, ISLAM ADVANCES: A $90 million taxpayer-funded park in Grand Prairie, Texas, sparked outrage after the park announced it would celebrate a “Muslims Only” event on the Islamic holiday of Eid al-Adha. Following backlash, the organizer clarified that “all are welcome,” but urged attendees to adhere to a “modest dress code” that meets Islamic guidelines.
RAIR Foundation founder Amy Mek explained that the event is completely legal, because it is being hosted on rented private property. She elaborated, “Islam is going to use our freedoms to conquer us – that is why a majority of their organizations have dozens of lawyers so they can launch LEGAL JIHAD.”
Thankfully, the city canceled the event after Gov. Greg Abbott (R) threatened to withhold $530,000 in state grants.
Meanwhile, in California, lawmakers are poised to designate two Muslim holy days as state holidays. And in New Jersey, the city of Paterson has been turned into the “Capital of Palestine in America,” as Muslim and leftist politicians join hands to rename streets, hoist Islamic flags, and impose Sharia.
Ed. Note: The Muslim Brotherhood and its allies are following a plan to soften America “through cultural influence, political infiltration, and demographic expansion,” to quote one ex-Muslim. We must push back against their agenda before it is too late.
8. U.S. DEBT PASSES GDP: The U.S. national debt is now bigger than the entire American economy, reaching its highest level since World War II, with the exception of a brief spike during Covid-19. On March 31, the national debt hit $31.27 trillion, compared to a nominal gross domestic product (GDP) of $31.22 trillion.
Maya MacGuineas, president of The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget, commented, “We’ve heard plenty of alarm bells in the past few years about our fiscal path, but this one rings especially loudly.”
Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) said American families are suffering under massive debt and inflation and urged, “It’s only going to get worse until we cut up the credit cards and get serious.”
9. INVESTORS STILL BULLISH ON ECONOMY: Top CEOs, politicians, and investors at this week’s Milken Institute Global Conference in Beverly Hills, California, asserted that Artificial Intelligence and rising stock prices outweigh persistent inflation and the war in Iran.
BlackRock CEO Larry Fink declared, “This is not an AI bubble. There is the opposite. We have supply shortages. Demand is growing much faster than anyone ever anticipated.”
Financial analyst David McAvalvany warned that massive spending in Artificial Intelligence is leaving stocks “near all-time highs,” despite oil shocks brought on by the Iran war. He observed that central banks, in contrast to investors, foresee economic uncertainty and are adding gold “at the fastest pace in more than a year.”
On Wednesday, investors celebrated as stocks reached historic levels.
Ed. Note: Investors are riding high on stock market gains and believe that prices can only move higher, despite the fact that most stocks are massively overvalued, compared to multiple metrics.
10. NEW PAPER FINDS THAT KIDS SPEND MORE TIME ON SCREENS, LESS TIME OUTSIDE: A new study from the Institute for Family Research reveals four key findings: American children spend an enormous amount of time online, with the average three-year-old spending just under 5 hours a week on devices, and the average 17-year-old over 19 hours online. Additionally, most kids have few restrictions on technology, with over 60% of children aged 11 and older having a smartphone. However, the average 17-year-old has little freedom to leave home unsupervised. And religious parents with degrees are more likely to set limits on technology for their kids.
IFS fellow Lyman Stone noted that among six-year-olds, “25% already have a smartphone… 58% aren’t even allowed to play IN THEIR OWN YARD without supervision… and they socialize with friends only 2.2 hours a week.”
11. HOMAN PROMISES DEPORTATIONS WILL ACCELERATE: At the Border Security Expo in Phoenix, Arizona, border czar Tom Homan remarked, “If you think last year’s historic number was good, wait until next year, when we have 10,000 agents. You ain’t seen nothing yet.” Homan said ICE agents will “flood the zone.”
DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin stated, “Over the last seven days, we’ve deported over 3,000 [people] a day. We’re moving strong, we’re just trying to do it in a different [lower-profile] approach.”
But Homan also revealed that some within Trump’s cabinet are pushing for some form of amnesty for illegals.
Ed. Note: See the latest updates on Trump’s deportation agenda here.

FAITH, FAMILY & FREEDOM REPORT
1. WHITE HOUSE DEDICATES MAY TO FOSTER FAMILIES: The Trump administration designated the month of May as “National Foster Care Month.” President Trump honored foster parents by writing, “Across our Nation, hundreds of thousands of American children depend upon the foster care system to shelter them, nurture them, and prepare them for lives of purpose and promise. In communities around the country, ordinary Americans rise to an extraordinary calling by opening their homes to children who have endured immense challenges that no child should ever know.”
2. POLAND PROTECTS MARRIAGE: Polish President Karol Nawrocki vetoed a bill that would have made it easier for certain couples to obtain a divorce. Nawrocki boldly said, “Marriage is not simply an entry in a register. Marriage is one of the foundations of social life. It is the foundation of the family, the foundation of raising children, the foundation of the national community. This bill…diminishes the status of an institution explicitly protected by the constitution.”
3. TEXAS FIGHTS AGAINST BIRTH TOURISM: Texas AG Ken Paxton (R) filed a lawsuit against the De-Ai Postpartum Care Center, claiming the center allows for Chinese nationals to illegally give birth in the United States. Paxton wrote, “America is for Americans, not foreigners trying to cheat the system to claim citizenship. The Center’s scheme not only facilitated an invasion of Texas, but it also involved shielding and facilitating violations of immigration law. Birthright citizenship is a scam that threatens national security.”
4. TRUMP CUTS SOCIAL SECURITY FOR ILLEGALS: The Trump administration has removed more than 300,000 illegal immigrants from Social Security as President Trump works to save taxpayer dollars. Trump added, “We’ve removed more than 100,000 migrants from Medicare eligibility: 100,000, and the number is going up. What we’re really doing is saving Social Security because it was so rife with fraud.”
5. HHS FIGHTS AGAINST MEDICAL OVERPRESCRIBING: HHS Secretary RFK Jr. is working to stop medical overprescriptions to psychiatric patients. Kennedy exclaimed, “The United States does not just face a mental health crisis. We face a dependency crisis driven by overmedicalization. This is a system-level pattern. Too many patients begin treatment without a clear understanding of the risks and how long they will stay on these drugs or how to come off of them, and that’s not informed consent.”
6. SEN. LEE INTRODUCES BILL TO PROTECT CITIZENS’ PRIVACY: Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) introduced the NDO Fairness Act, a bill that would block the federal government from seizing private citizens’ phone records without either notifying the individual or obtaining a warrant. 7. DOJ INVESTIGATES ROGUE SCHOOL DISTRICTS: The Department of Justice opened an investigation into 36 Illinois school districts that potentially violated federal rules by pushing LGBTQ agendas on children. 9. LIFE WINS IN ENGLAND: A UK High Court ruled in favor of 80-year-old pro-lifer David Skinner, who had been charged for opposing abortion buffer zones. Skinner stated, “This prosecution should never have been brought. It has taken a heavy toll on me, but I hope this ruling will protect others who wish to speak out peacefully on matters of conscience without fear of being criminalized.”
10. ILLINOIS RETREATS FROM ABORTION AMENDMENT: The state of Illinois tabled a constitutional amendment that would have codified abortion into the state constitution. The amendment will not be added to the ballot in November. Mary Kate Zander of Illinois Right to Life added, “This shows that even in Illinois, the pro-life movement is not dead… Quite the contrary, we’re just getting started.”
11. ELECTION INTEGRITY WINS IN MICHIGAN: Michigan Court of Appeals Judge Christopher Yates ruled against the state of Michigan’s attempt to hide essential voter data from the public. And yet, despite knowing this, when the Lord asks you to do something, you just simply do it.”

HOMESCHOOLERS SAVE TAXPAYER DOLLARS: A new survey conducted by HSLDA found that the cost of homeschooling is drastically lower than public schooling, at around $1,600 per year per student, while public school students cost about $17,000 each. Additionally, public school enrollment has dropped precipitously in the past decade.
HYMN OF THE WEEK
Following Jesus by Barney E. Warren
Following Jesus, following Jesus!
Gently He leads me in the heavenly way!
Watching and praying, trusting, obeying,
He will restrain me from going astray.
Following Jesus, following Jesus!
He who has suffered to redeem me from sin.
Oh, what a blessing, while I’m confessing,
He in His fullness is reigning within!
Following Jesus, following Jesus!
I am delighted with His wonderful love.
While I’m confiding, in Him I’m hiding;
Soon I shall meet Him in heaven above!
Following Jesus, following Jesus!
This is my duty for His goodness to me!
Joyful in glory, telling the story,
How in His favor I’m happy and free.
Following Jesus, following Jesus,
Following Jesus by day and by night!
Watching and praying, trusting, obeying,
He is my helper in doing what’s right.
